What is Menopause?:
Menopause is when a women reaches the point in their lifetime where they've gone through 12 months without a menstrual period. This generally happens at the age of 52.

What are the Signs of Menopause?:
Change in menstrual cycle (heavier/lighter flow than usual)
Vaginal dryness
Feeling the need to urinate more often
Hot flushes and night sweats
Sleeping problems
Pain in joints
Mood changes
3 Stages of Menopause:
Perimenopause - Usually starts in a women's 40s when their ovaries start to produce less estrogen. Women can be in this stage from several months to several years.
Menopause - The point when a women no longer has menstrual periods. The ovaries no longer release eggs and estrogen continues to produce less and less.
Postmenopause - The time after menopause, which this stage lasts a lifetime.

Menopause vs. Postmenopause:
People often confuse postmenopause with menopause. Postmenopause is after when a women hasn't gone through their menstrual period in 12 months, which this lasts a lifetime. In contrast, menopause is just a phase where a women hasn't gone through their period in 12 months, which the chance of the women getting their period can still occur.
