What is AI?
Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is the ability for computers to perform tasks that are typically done by humans, such as writing, problem-solving, and language understanding.
Benefits of AI in Healthcare
Some benefits are its ability to conduct surgery, provide diagnoses, organize data, and much more. All of this can be useful, but to every advantage, there is a disadvantage.
Disadvantages of AI in Healthcare
Some disadvantages are its malfunctions and the fact that its diagnoses may be inaccurate. AI works just like us; it also makes mistakes sometimes.
Benefits | Disadvantages |
Ability to conduct robotic surgery | Malfunctions may occur |
Attempt to provide a diagnosis | This diagnosis may not be accurate |
Ability to organize data, such as patient information | Environmental impact |
Ability to translate languages | May not be able to emotionally connect and understand the patient |
There are many benefits to AI in Healthcare as there are disadvantages. As the use of AI increases, it may be time to start using AI more efficiently, but of course, cautiously as well.
