Hello. With over 40 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, professor of nursing and most recently, nurse writer, I am a passionate advocate of supporting medical/health literacy. Teaching has been the cornerstone of my entire career - starting out as a registered nurse in womens's health to my current role educating the next generation of nurses.
